But first, let’s make sure you’re asking the right questions when interviewing your venue. By asking essential questions, you can make sure that the venue aligns with your vibe, vision and guarantees a memorable and breathtaking experience for you and your guests!

Location, location, location..and accessibility!

Unless you are providing transportation to your venue, you want to ensure your venue is google map accessible and easy to get to.

Here are some questions you can ask!

  • What is the proximity to transportation hubs, airports, and accommodations for guests?

  • What logistics are involved in reaching the venue?

  • Is the venue easily accessible for my guests?

  • Will the venue provide directors for my guests?

You think you found the location, but what is their capacity limits and accomodation like?

You’ll need to make sure the venue can comfortably host your anticipated guest count and has suitable lodging options for you and your guests nearby. Maybe even consider whether the venue offers on-site accommodations or if they have preferred partnerships with nearby hotels or resorts.

Here are some questions you can ask!

  • What is your max capacity count?

  • Do you provide lodging for your guests on site?

  • How many guest rooms does the venue have / how many people can it accommodate?

  • Are there hotels, lodges or airbnb’s nearby our guests can stay if there is no room left at the venue?

  • Do you assist with providing lodging for our guests?

Ireland is known for its “tricky" weather. If your venue is outside you’ll want to have a thought out plan in place for weather considerations and backup plans just in case!

  • Will you assist us in contacting additional vendors?

  • Are there any local regulations we need to adhere to?

  • Are there any restrictions with music ordinance or with the fire marshall for fireworks?
